As a child I saw Tarzan nearly naked, Cinderella arrived home after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladdin was a thief, Batman drive over 200 mph, Snow White lived with seven men, Popeye smoked a pine and had tattoos, PAC Man ran around eating pills that enhanced his preference and Shaggy and Scooby were hippies that always had the munchies.
Yes my single mother worked and the TV was my babysitter! And that was just the animated programming. I won’t go into the trauma inflicted by the evening programming (Archie, The God Father and The Twilight Zone)!
