PCH

I’m waiting on top of the parking garage at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital while my granddaughter and her mommy are getting her two year check up.
The view is amazing from my 5th story parking spot. And the 59 degree breeze is amazing.
I’m crocheting an afghan as I wait, just enjoying the moment. Then the emergency helicopter fires up it’s engines and my Mommy/Grammy heart goes into panic prayer mode.
Prayers for the child, the parents, the family, the emergency team, the hospital staff.
Gosh darn it.
I hate bad things, especially for our little people. But how lucky we are to have so many wonderful people willing to work and love those in need. My heart is so grateful for all the helpers.
