Tonight a baseball game is being played in a cornfield in Iowa. The “Field of Dreams Game” some 30 years after the movie was made (1989). Everything from the new field with its charming retro vibe to the bygone uniforms that the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox are sporting are enchanting. Kevin Costner opened the game, and listening to him chat with the commentators, he touched on the magic of baseball.
