MORNING

I walked out to my car this morning the weather felt perfect.

It reminded me of the first time I visited Kentucky.

The mornings were cool and slightly damp, just lovely and incredibly beautiful. I would have given anything to spent this morning walking the woods and the meadows of tall grass.

Just one more reason I love where I live!

This morning I met Mary. She is going across the country on her own in her small SUV. She came into my office to see about road construction en rout. And she ended up showing me the layout of her SUV/Camper. Oh my goodness! So inspirational!! I have not been this excited about something is some time. I am going to follow her example and create a mobile camping outfit.

LISTEN

A farmer lost his watch in the barn. The watch had great sentimental value, so he searched for it to no avail.

He heard some kids playing outside, and explained to them about his watch, and asked if they would help him find it.

They all searched, but could not find the watch. The farmer thanked them for their help, and sent them off. As they were leaving, one little boy asked if he could try again. The farmer decided to give him another chance, and the boy returned to the barn.

About half an hour later, the boy walked out of the barn with the watch. The farmer was amazed, and asked how he could find it when so many had been looking and failed?

The boy replied, “I didn’t do anything...I just sat in the silence and listened. Eventually, I heard the ticking of the watch, and followed the sound.”

Sometimes, if you just sit quietly, we will hear the “ticking” promptings, leading us to the truth and helping us on our way.

VACCINES

Polio is no longer affecting the masses, in fact I don’t know of anyone that has had Polio. Why? Because we all got vaccinated.

DECOLLETAGE

Décolletage: a woman’s plunging neckline.

The word décolletage always sounds so romantically feminine and sexy. And that was the word that was wandering through my thoughts as I inspected the new lacy under things I purchased today. It may or may not be true that I have been a creature of habit when it comes to the unmentionables I wear against my skin. Always feminine, but not very racy. So, when I chose new lingerie, I opted to go outside my comfort zone and forego the sports bra for something with oohlala! Well… I love it! And I didn’t stop at one, but bought several lacy, silky styles in various colors. Sounds awesome right! I thought so too! But as I was fashioning each one in the mirror to see what I though. I found that I am a little (or a lot) inept at figuring out that front clasp. I’m so very glad I was alone, but it was so hilarious I wish someone else could have seen the the sexy funny! (No pictures included!!!)

JEFF & AAA

Jeff and AAA got me back to town.

ON MY DRIVING PATH

The other day as I drove to work, I took the back roads, I love the back roads. I always try to be present wherever I am, I don’t want to miss a thing. As I drove toward the overhang of the branches, of the woods that overtake the path, I had to slow as I watched the darling deer as it danced in the middle of the narrow road. I was so delighted! I wonder if the young deer could hear the playlist I was listening too, she sure seemed to like it!

Miles later I drove between between fringed corn fields and yellowing soy bean bushes. Seas of green in so many shades.

At the bend in the road, I saw a farmer standing in his yard. He wore overalls. I bet his name is Mike!

On my way home the cows were all in the pond. They were standing side by side, with their fannies facing the setting sun. There were a gaggle of geese on the meadow. I wonder if they mind sharing the pond with the Fat Happy Cows.

Farther down the road, the chickens where at the roadside, looking sassy and carefree, so fluffy and colorful.

I LOVE WHERE I LIVE!♥️

CHARMING

An older Mennonite couple stopped into my office the other day. If I hadn’t seen them drive in I would have thought they were Amish. They were delightful! They came in to pick up a box we had filled with maps and tour books for a road trip they are planning. We enjoyed chatting with them, I also enjoyed listening to them speak in Pennsylvania Dutch. Simply Charming!

SELF LOVE

My boss and I were chatting this morning, he said that he thinks I have found my JOB FIT here in the office. He said that I am good at what I do, and my clients adore me. This made me stop and smile.
