shattered

How did I trust you so completely?
I built my future on your words.
Now I see everything you said to me was a lie.
When she spoke with me I learned more lies
I also learned, as I knew before, she lies too.
You are both very skilled at telling untruths,
to make things look different,
to make your selves look and feel better than you are.
I can’t imagine trying to keep all the lies straight in your head.
But if you wish to believe them,
please be aware that she sees you much worse than you are.
And we both know how bad you are.
But the lies she tells of you are even uglier.
My heart hurts, it feels as it has shattered.
My future is completely shattered.
But sadly I hurt for my best friend too.
