This year marks the 100th anniversary of Henry and Clara Ford’s private railcar, “Fair Lane.” The car, built to their specifications, could accommodate eight passengers. It had four private rooms, an observation lounge, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. The Ford family used “Fair Lane” on more than 400 trips before selling the passenger car.
