long day at work,
drove across town for a friend,
vacuumed the carpet,
did a load of wash,
tried to figure out the cause of death of my poor microwave,
ate the last bit of crumbled BBQ potato chips for dinner with a side of regret
looked at the dishes in the sink,
took out the space heater to keep the bathroom toasty as I showered,
had an "ah-ha" moment as I remembered where I put the power cord for the heated blanket
(that I have been looking for for over two weeks)
now under several blankets, including the electric one,
listening to the wind howl,
it's 25 degrees outside,
but I'm cozy in my tank top and bare feet
Thursday is over
