Tonight’s full moon is the second in the month. That makes it a “blue moon” even though it has nothing to do with the color blue. It is also a “super moon” which means it is closer to the earth on its orbit. This makes it bigger and brighter too.
We took a drive and watched the Super Blue Moon rise as the sun set. It was beautiful!
