My boss sent us home early today. The wind is howling and the snow is piling up on top of the ice from last night and this morning. The drive to and from work was slow. There was hardly any traffic because most people are smart enough to stay off the roads. But even at only driving 20 mph I was still sliding.
I have Mexican chicken in the crockpot and fresh bread in the bread machine. I think I’ll be okay now. But I do hope the sun comes out soon.
