Domestic Violence

I believe home and family 

should be synonymous with love and comfort.

I grew up in an environment 

that did not foster these characteristics.

I believe that if you don't have these things in your life, 

you need to make a change.

The victim of domestic violence can not make it stop, 

can not make it better,

until they get away from the situation.

You can not change someone else.

You must take care of yourself.

I thank those in my life who have shown me 

what home and family should be.
