Yesterday there was ice on my
windshield. As I drove to work, I saw frost on the fields and there was Fall
confetti falling from the trees. I love Autumn!
On the other hand, Autumn seems to bring
more animals out to the roadways. I passed a coyote, several racoons, a skunk, a
cat and a deer… "napping"
at the side of the road.
As I drove home from work yesterday, the
driver, two cars ahead of me, was hit by a deer. The poor deer ended up in the
median, where he had come from. His outcome was very bleak. And the driver’s
door was very crumpled.
Sad start to Autumn.
