My grandparents put a pool in their back yard in the early 60’s.
My brother and I were fish. I loved that pool.
It had a slide and a diving board.
Their back yard had a beautiful patio in flag stone,
with palm trees and an arbor.
I spent a lot of my youth in that pool! I loved to swim.
One of my very favorite things was swimming...
well floating at night.
Listening to my own breathing while watching the stars.
Last summer I swam in Hawaii, in the ocean
and in several pools including an infinity pool.
Both at night. And it was amazing!
There were so many stars!
It was one of the most beautiful experiences.
I have been invited to a pool party tomorrow.
There is nothing like swimming in the dark!
