I was driving to work yesterday, along a quiet narrow two lane back road. I was chatting with my co-pilot when I watched a deer run across the road. He was alone and I must have been spooked him as I drove up. I wasn't too close, but he stopped on the grassy shoulder and proceeded to jump in a circle. I stopped my car and watched the show. He was beautiful, just beautiful. Then he ran back across the road and I watched until I couldn't see his white tail any longer. It made me happy.
