Yesterday I met a man from
Phoenix. He lives in my area. I asked what brought him here, he said his
parents had moved here to Mayberry and he and his wife felt this was a good
place for their three small children. We talked about the differences from what
we grew up with in the desert and life here in the Green. He has lived here for
two years, and had a couple tips for me. Our meeting was short, and I will
probably never see him again, but for those few minutes I felt like I had a bid
of back home. I wanted to hug him when he left, but I didn’t.
I am grateful to have
lived in AZ for most of my life. I think that totally helped me to appreciate living
in Mayberry in all its beautiful shades of green!!!
