We started with Apfel Strudel with vanilla ice cream, sprinkled with cinnamon. You should always start with dessert. Life is too short!
He has an ‘old fashioned’ and I had a ‘dew drop’. Then we shared the sampler , with a ham roll, kraut balls potatoe pancakes and fried oysters, served with a sausage sampler. That came with German potato salad, rye bread and sauerkraut.
