I have received dozens of Birthday Wishes today and I feel so
blessed to have so many people care about me. One of the wishes is from a
mentor who wrote
"Happy Birthday! Enjoy the Journey!"
I think that sums up how I am looking at this next year. I am starting it off with a driving trip to Ashville, North Carolina. The Smoky Mountains are calling to me and I need to take a walk through some woods. I plan to see a bit of South Carolina while I am away, it is part of my bucket list. I am going alone, starting this new year out getting some perspective and charting my path.
Sometimes the gift you really need is the gift only you can give yourself.
