GRIEVING
I watched a families grief this weekend. I watched the tears and the pain of watching someone in their final stage of life. I watched the bond of family. I watched the laughter of memories and the pain relief of Dad Jokes. This family isn’t done yet, they will be there until those precious moments are gone. I was glad to be a fly on the wall, watching something I have never experienced before. I was touched by the superpower bond that is created by grief.

Eye Doctor 7:40am
Stopped at the Bank
Washed the car
Saw Anh, my nail goddess
Picked up my fountain of youth moisturizer
Picked up lunch… dropped it off at the office
Got my second booster shot
12:45 sat down on my wine colored couch to enjoy my lunch… and BONUS “3 pickle slices” on my chicken sandwich!!!
I wonder what Saturday afternoon will hold?!!!

TERRIFYING
A friend wrote this on FB today:
We were in the car the other day and my daughter asked “Mommy, will the world look different when I’m an adult?” And honestly it made me want to cry. Because yes baby, it will. And idk what its going to look like because the path we’re on right now is scary. We can only hope that something changes for the better for these future generations. It is absolutely TERRIFYING to have a daughter in todays world.

MMMM… COOKIES
I chat with my daughter just about every day. And the other day the subject of cookies came up. She sent me a pic of her favorite cookie recipe out of the “cookie bible”.
I grew up with my moms cookie cookbook. My children grew up with the same copy. When my daughter got her own kitchen, I gave her that copy.
Then I bought my new daughter a copy of the beloved book and a new copy for myself.
I love that my daughter’s favorite ‘go to’ cookie recipe is not the same as mine, and I love that her bible had her spin on the recipe written in.
I also love that the next generation of cookie lovers will grow up with the same cookie bible we grew up with!

TONIGHT
For the first time in 18 years, a planetary party like few others will "peak" this Thursday and Friday morning! It will look in order just like this graphic I put together for you to aid in viewing.
While the visibility of all 5 planets will be visible through the end of June, the viewing will be best and most apparent to the bare eyes these next two days!
Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn will all be clearly visible in this orientation before sunrise! Best time to see is 4AM through sunup. Last time they all were visible was 2004 at the same time, and this won't happen again until 2040.
Look in the southeast horizon! The crescent moon will also fall perfectly in line. Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn will still be visible most mornings throughout July, however the planets will spread out farther as the month goes on.
