MY SUNDAY DRIVE

I drove a back road

I stopped my truck 

with the windows down

and just listened 

to all the birds

the sounds of the 

wilderness and the wind 

I watched the wind in the trees 

moving as though they danced 

and in the tall grass 

moving like waves on the sea 

Peaceful Beautiful Calm

I was reminded why 

I love it here
