Memorial Weekend

I went to Memorial Park in Salt Lake 

on Memorial weekend.

It is amazingly beautiful there. 

There is a small but grand chapel there.

There are markers there for service men 

who where lost at war.

I was in awe at the peaceful beautiful setting.

 The photos and stories of the men, 

lost so far from home,

standing for freedom and right,

was totally humbling and spiritual.
