WORD OF THE DAY

Petrichor : the name for the smell of rain on dry ground, is from oils given off by vegetation, absorbed onto neighboring surfaces, and released, like effervessence, into the air after a first rain

The smell of the rain in the desert of Scottsdale Arizona is one of my favorites there is just nothing to compare. The smell if rain in the woods of Kentucky is so clean.
