THE LIBRARIAN
One of my clients stopped by my office wanting help with a flight to San Francisco…First Class for the Librarian! I love her calling card, on the back side of a library file card! CHARMING!
SAME VIEW
I stood in my front yard 11 years ago today, at the end of a long day, at a tough moment in my life. This was the view I saw looking west over the Whitetank mountains. Minutes later I got this picture from my life guru. He said he knew I would love this view. He was 20 miles away from where I stood. But saw the same thing I did. How well he knew me, how grateful I was to have him in my life. I’ll always remember this day.

YELLOW CHAIR
I saw a yellow chair in the middle of a farmers field as I was out on my Sunday drive. I’m not sure what it was doing there, but it made me smile!
THE VIEW
I have been in my sewing room today, making cute little things for my cute little grandbaby. As I look up from my sewing table the view of my darling little yard and garden make me so happy. The bird housed and the wind chimes delight me. The vast number of airborne bugs is more than icky however. But all in all, my charming view is wonderful!

OUTSIDE MY ELEMENT
Sometimes we need to go outside our personal element in order to make sure we love the elements that make up who we are! 
This was the good part! I have never liked popsicles or ice pops. But when I was given one of these… lemon … I fell in love! These are amazingly yummy! And on that hot, dirty day, I was very pleased with these frozen treats! (I was told they came from Walmart)
Recently I was asked to help with inventory of a local auto dealership. Sadly, I would have preferred to test drive all the new automobiles. But I hung out in the boy department inventorying all the pieces and parts of the repair department. It smelled like a garage. I have been in garages that were truly enjoyable. This one… not so much. But the experience was great.
The count was long, then came the good part, then came the second count. The pay was good and it was fun watching all the others who enjoyed this process with me.
I am always grateful for the elements that make up the path I walk. I am delighted to learn new things and find new pleasures along the was. I love who it makes me!

THUNDERSTORM
I love waking up to the crack of thunder as it splits the quiet of my sleep. How the sound of those few raindrops on my window becomes a downpour. I love laying in bed, in the dark, watching the for lightning so I can count the seconds before I hear the next roll of thunder, so I can estimate the proximity of the storm. The weather never is never boring. I love a good thunderstorm.

BIRTHDAY PLANNING
My sons birthday is coming up. He was telling me the list of friends that have RSVPed to his Friday the 13th Birthday Bash. So many of the young people that are planing to attend were at his last Friday the 13th Birthday Bash back in 2010. Awesome group of friends. I love who all those crazy kids grew up to be. Glad they still hang out together! Proud parenting moment!
HOT AND SPICY
In my little garden, at the cute little red brick house, I am growing Oregano. Being Italian, I grew up with copious amounts of oregano. So I thought that since I have several Basil bushes growing that I should round out my herb garden with some oregano. It is growing well, but these little leaves are far smaller than I am used to. So tonight as I wondered through my darling yard I took a leaf and popped it in my mouth. And oh my stinking heck! This stuff is HOT AND SPICY! Not putting that in my marinara! No no no!

Nine years ago today I was in Wickenburg, Arizona. Wickenburg is an authentic old west town that is delightful to visit. There is the coolest Western Museum there, the Horseshoe Cafe and Vulture Mine for a tour. It was super cool, but really really HOT!

GRANDMA WOULD BE PLEASED
Every so often the sadness of not having my Grandma in my life is overwhelming. It’s been 30 years since she was here, but I have things in my home that remind me of her. And I remember the way she cooked. Her cast iron was so awesome. And her food was amazing! Tonight I made angel hair pasta, with my homemade marinara with tomatoes and herbs from my garden, with meatballs and Italian sausage. 
Comfort food! I sure loved my Grandma Mary.

This is Makayla! Covered in mud from playing outside. In her element! Not only is she lovely, without makeup, but a delight to be with all the time. Truly beautiful inside and out!
