A friend and I went to this cool spot in
St Louis where they make their own soda!
It was a really neat place. I was also told you can buy their Root Beer in my local grocery!

That Silly Feeling

Grass
Yesterday I walked through the grass with no shoes. I loved it. It’s one of my favorite things. 
Last night I dreamed I was rolling down a grassy hill. Just like a little kid. Today I took my Sunday drive, and half the people in Kentucky were cutting their grass. I love how green the world is here; the grass, the trees.
I love where I live...it’s beautiful!!

Mother’s Day

3 States
I took my Sunday drive today,
I slept really well
and figured it was a perfect day for a drive.
I saw places I hadn’t seen before
and totally enjoyed the beautiful day.
I saw 1 five window black Chevy truck,
picked up 2 lottery tickets
and drove 3 states.
It was a beautiful day.
Even after the Police Woman
pulled me over outside Graysville....
I may have been speeding
as I listened to Highway to Hell!!!
She gave me a verbal warning
and told me to enjoy my day!
Woohoo!

French Lemonade
I bough two bottles of French Lemonade a few weeks ago. I will be honest, although I love Lemonade I bought them for the bottles. They are the ones with the resealable ceramic caps.
The other night I made my dinner, often times my evening meal is simple and quick, eaten while listening to an audio book or watching a current binge. So there I was on the sofa, my dinner, picnic style on a tray, and I popped the top of my French Lemonade. The effervescence was quite impressive. I was covered, the sofa was covered and so was the floor. I cleaned it all up, not having remembered any vigorous shaking of said lovely French Lemonade bottle.
Today, I am having a quick lunch, before heading out for the rest of the day (There will be grocery shopping involved and I don’t want to go hungry, as to not return home with every regrettable morsel). As I was perched here on a stool in my tiny kitchen, I thought Lemonade would be a perfect accompaniment. So I popped the top of the second bottle of French Lemonade. What a blessing that I had not been facing my window at that moment. Not only did Lemonade get all over the counter and clean dishes, but the ceramic and metal cap went flying too!
Who knew that French Lemonade was so very exciting!!!

STORMY
It started raining an hour before I left work.
I left my windows open when I left for work, I came home to no screen in my bedroom window. And wet carpet. Woohoo!
I keep an umbrella in my desk.
When I clocked out and walked out of the building, umbrella in hand, the hail started.
I have never driven in such a deluge before.
Nore have I ever driven in a hail storm.
I was sure the marble size hail was going to break my little car. But as I made it through the storm, I came to my one stop light and as I waited, the hail stopped. As I turned into my driveway, there was an amazing rainbow!

Delightful Lady
My friend Susan is a delightful lady. She is lovely, literally looking twenty years younger than her 70 years. She is witty and to the point. Her life story is fascinating and vast. When I visited her at her home last night, she showed me her hobby. I can honestly say, her collection of yarn is better than most crafting stores!! She is delightful!

Good
I had dinner at a friends place tonight. I got a tour of the house, the hobby room, the sun room and the deck that literally touches the woods. Dinner took time to cook. The conversation was easy. I felt so at ease, so welcomed. I think this was what I have needed. I am so very grateful to dear friends that get me, and make me realize that life is good.

Oh my goodness
My friend and I were at a restaurant that brews their own root beer. So were were sitting there enjoying this great stuff, and just chit chatting.
When a lady came in and sat at the bar. She ordered a root beer float. I thought nothing of it. But when I looked back to see the cases of soda for sale I got a good look at her. She was wearing yoga pants and lace bra. That’s it. Family restaurant, middle of the day! This outfit was so not exceptible in my book, but she was no young thing thing either. Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness!
