FOG

This morning I woke up at 6:30, that’s sleeping in for me, 

as I came down the stairs I saw through the tall window 

that everything was enveloped in fog. 

I was tickled. 

I let the dog out and just enjoyed the view. 

You could still see the fields and farms 

that are within a mile of my little place, 

but oh, how magic everything looked; like a story. 

It was 62 degrees, high today will be 74. 

It’s the  middle of July!

THERE IS A COW IN THE CORN

I didn't know that mid July could be so beautiful.
The high today was 74.

I don't know that I will get over the GREEN!
The weeds are even wonderful!!!

 

This is "COW". I don't know who she belongs to, but they need reported.
 She wonders all the time. She is the sweetest dog ever.
She has one eye and is covered in bugs.
My little dog barks at Cow when ever she is at our house.
But the minute you let Cheree out to be with Cow, she turns into a "CHICKEN!"

I FOUND

I have a passion for architecture and interior design.
I think I have looked for the things I love all my life.

~Nearly twenty years ago I fell in love with a neighborhood because of how the houses all looked so charming nestled together. I lived in that neighborhood for over a decade.
~I fell in love with a floor plan because of the staircase, the layout and the space. I lived in that floorplan for 5 years.
~I knew it was the right house for me to begin my next chapter when I saw the burgundy walls, vaulted ceilings and plantation shutters. I found me in that house.
~The woods, the creek, the barn, the bead board, the tiny upstairs, the 1901 charm. I crossed the country to find my new path. I found more than a neighborhood, I found neighbors. I found more than just a floor plan, I found comfort. I found more than just a house...I found HOME.

ALL IN PLAIN SIGHT

I wonder if he could sense that she was totally checking 

him out, from head to toe, as he worked on her car. 

I wonder if he could see that each time he 

smiled at her she got goosebumps. 

I wonder if he could hear her heart beat, 

as it thundered when he stood next to her. 

He fixed her car, she rewarded his efforts!!

A good mechanic is PRICELESS!!!

4th Of July

Here in Kentucky they started the
Independance Day
celebrating last weekend.
There have been barbeques, picnics
and fire works everywhere.
I love it here!
