CARTOONS

I was speaking to a coworker about our children when they were younger. She said that her son still has all the episodes from his beloved childhood cartoon C.O.W-Boys of Moo Mesa.

I had never heard of this cartoon before. So I googled it. Sure enough, there it was. It looks cute. Some great voices played a part in this short lived series. It only ran from September 1992- December 1993.

Even though I had never heard of it, I am sure this was a great kid flick.

Just one more happy thing!

When my children were little, my girls each had a doll that they loved. I loved my little girls so much. When we made pancakes we always made tiny ones for the babies!

I still make those little pancakes.

I miss my little girls more than I can say. ♥️

CHEESE BALLS

I have a coworker that is a wonderful uncle. His niece and nephew live far away and only come to town a few times a year. They are little and really enjoy coming to visit their uncle and their grandparents. They know that when they are here, they get lots of extra attention and lots of snacks that their health-conscious mommy won’t allow at home.

Bryan hasn’t seen his sisters kids in a while, due to the pandemic, and he was missing them. So, he went onto Amazon and sent each of them a large tub of Cheese Balls. I am sure that he did this not only to delight the youngsters but to get at his sister. She sent him a text when the treats arrived telling him that she hates him.

But I am sure that those kiddos love him so much!!!

CLUTCH

My client sent me an email this morning that said…

“You were CLUTCH!!!”

Knowing that our interaction this morning, when he missed his flight to Cabo, ended up very happy, I figured that CLUTCH must be a good thing. Since I am not into the Cali slang, as I am not hip nor young ... I had to GOOGLE that!

Here is what I found:

CLUTCH- Urban Dictionary

-A phrase of exclamation said when you receive exactly what you need exactly when you need it

-Clutch can characterize something as “excellent” or “effective.”

-A phrase roughly equivalent to: F~~~ing Cool!!!

So nice!

INSTAPOT

I have not bought anything new for my kitchen in...well, forever!

But when am Instapot Duo arrived at the cute little house...I was Delighted!

We started off boiling water, and that was successful! We made Ham and Bean Soup. The beans started out dry, but after 50 minutes, low and behold the soup was perfect!

We then used the air-fryer for French-fries and I was tickled that they were so crispy and perfect.

Last night I piled in the chicken breasts and added my salsa. I now know that I need to add additional time for so many layers of meat. But I can tell you that the chicken shredded beautifully. It made perfect Chicken Avocado Soft Tacos.

I am tickled with my new kitchen toy!
