DOG FOOD

My daughter and I were chatting the other day on our way home from work. (Super cool that we both leave work at the same time even though we are in different time zones) I love the chats with my kids after they get out of work, it's just like hearing everything after a school day, but all grown up.
Well, my daughter was stopping by the pet store to buy food for my granddog, Harley. My sweet girl can be a bit obsessive, and that's a very good thing. She was reading the ingredient list on just about every brand of dog food. She is a very good mommy to her dog, Harley is the smartest dog I have been around (no I'm not bias because she's my granddog).
 Jessette continued to read "...chicken, rice...beef...vegetarian,
Who would feed there dog vegitarin?....Lamb, rice, oats ...Why are there so many options? Where is the one with 'blood of a virgin'?"
She caught me off guard and totally made me laugh! She is so completely delightful!!
I'm sure Harley got treats when she got home. As always, my daughter gives me proud mommy moments, I adore her!

IT'S JUST A FIELD TRIP TO THE PARK

On my way to work I have passed 

semi trucks full of big pink pigs. 

You can see an ear or a tail 

or a snout through the tiny little openings. 

I'm not a big pig fan, 

but just like all the other critters

 in my new home, 

they are cute.

So I reassure myself that 

those happy piggies are just 

on their way to a play date at the park.

If only our eyes saw souls rather than bodies....how different our ideas of beauty would be.

SLIGHTLY DELIGHTED...?

Hanging laundry on the line... thought I dropped a sock, just a damp tiny touch on the side of my foot (yes, I had on flip flops). I looked down to retrieve the stray sock, only to find it wasn't a sock next to my foot, there in the beautiful grass.... but a tiny albino frog.
I was thouroughly grossed out, and slightly delighted.
I wiggled my foot to encourage his departure. It took 3 tries for me to get him to hop out of my path. Then I finished hanging the laundry.
I think I'll put on tennis shoes to get the laundry off the line.
