But it wasn’t raining, thank goodness. So at 6pm we took a ride on our bike.
As we were backing the bike in the drive, our lawn care provider and his driver showed up. (aka our 13 year old grandson and his dad)
As Derek cut and edged our yard, I prepped BLTs for dinner. I was delighted when the lawn care providers mom and younger sister arrived as well!
We all had dinner and enjoyed watching baseball and hockey… because that is what we do. It was a fun Wednesday evening!
I didn’t go to bed late, I hadn’t consumed anything out of the ordinary. My work day was normal-ish, my after work day was pleasant. But after 2am, the nightmares started.
The first was the big one. I did not recognize her. But she did not like me. In my dream I saw her several times. And she was definitely seeing me. As I was sleeping in my dream (yea, I now know that I do that, I was in bed in a dark room) she was in the doorway watching me, yet again. She was coming to get me.
I guess that is when the screaming began. I knew I was screaming in my dream, I knew she was on the floor pulling me by my hand.
I did not know that John had my hand and he was telling me he had me and to wake up. As I repeatedly screamed HELP and NO at him. I don’t think I ever fully woke up. But that part of the dream ended. (Thank goodness)
The next part was on repeat.
As I walked through a house, that I did not know, and saw scary hidden things that should not have been there. But I was the only one seeing them.
I usually have a lot of dreams. But they are not usually scary. I’ll be honest, I was a bit apprehensive about going to bed Thursday night. But no bad dreams!!!
