My Starbucks guy said he just wished there was a Starbucks on his way into work!

Slice of Heaven

There is a spot between mile marker 7 and 8 
heading eastbound on the Audubon Highway 
from Henderson to Owensboro, Kentucky. 
This spot has a charming little pond 
with fat happy cows and a few horses. 
The hills are beautiful and rolling. 
The woods are lovely and sweeping. 
There is a barn that just makes this spot 
even more charming. 
I have to say, it is one of my favorite morning views. 
It is truly a slice of Heaven!

Monday Night Football

I watched Monday Night Football tonight.
Atlanta Falcons and the New York Giants.
It was a fun game to watch. Caused a lot of laughter.
I give big kudos to Cornrow Jones and Oatmeal Beckham Jr.
Fun game and seriously hilarious commentary from the peanut gallery!
I love football, it’s so funny! Did I mention Booger Mc Farland!

Nights

Some nights I fall asleep really easily and some nights I don’t.
It’s been a long day. I have been awake since 5:30 this morning.
I didn’t get home from work until about nine.
As I lay here in the dark,
with an extra banker, because it’s chilly,
I can hear the cars on the highway.
You can hear the cars on the road near my home.
Sometimes you can hear the cars racing,
since that street is perfect for just that!
10:37pm I’m sleepy, wide awake and chilly.
I tried counting the cars, but I wish I was sleeping instead.
I sure hope it’s not going to be another sleepless night!
