THUNDERSTORM
As I drove home today there were low dark clouds in front of me. The trees were blowing and leaves were flying. I watched the lightning strike and I could hear the thunder follow.
It started to sprinkle. Then it began to pour. I was glad I had chosen to take the main road home rather than the back roads. As I got to the little blue bridge I could see lightning strike across the river and the thunder rolled across the sky. When I parked the car and headed to the house I was totally drenched.
It was awesome! I love a good thunderstorm!
Two hours later and it’s still raining here at the little brick house.
Happy me!
COUNTRY LIFE
Yesterday I spent some time out in the country. Clean air, woods as far as you can see and farm animals! 
I had a very lovely time.

MENTAL LOVE LETTERS
I remind myself often to remember this moment. Sort of a mental love letter to myself. Because I want that mental reminder of what happened, where I am, what I saw or who I was with. It also reminds me to enjoy the now. That way I acknowledge the magic and the blessings all around me.

GOOD FOR BUSINESS
I met a lady today whose family owned restaurant was featured in a publication for being a great local establishment. She said the restaurant was getting more business due to the publication, which was so needed because they were really in need of more business.
I told her how great I thought that was. Then I asked her about her family’s restaurant and told her I would be in the area over the holiday weekend and would love to stop in and support her and her family. She said “We are closed this weekend. We needed some time off.” I finished helping her and she went on her way.
Now tell me… the restaurant just got free advertising that is bolstering the business and you are going to be closed on a long holiday weekend?
I hope the family restaurant does well, because it sounds like the business management is a bit off.
