Saturday Night

Windows are opening and the breeze is playing with the wind chimes.
A lively thing to listen to as I try to fall asleep.

Holding Hands

Holding hands with someone you love who is in pain can synchronize your breathing, heart rate and brain waves. And the more brain waves synchronize, the greater the reduction in pain. http://ow.ly/no8W30oxEFD

The Law of Moving

We moved all the big stuff from my apartment today. Well I may have helped a tiny bit. But these men were amazing!
The law of moving does state:
When moving, it has to be raining, snowing, minus 30 degrees,or 115 degrees.
We got the rain today. It made the move much more fun!!

Bullies Come In All Sizes

Every morning in my new house we open the blinds to view the backyard.
We love to watch the squirrels eating the corn we hang in tree.
We love to watch how comical the squirrels are.
This morning there was a very small bird in the tree as well.
As the younger squirrel hung upside down eating the corn kernels he gathered, I watched the little bird dive bomb the squirrel repeatedly. The squirrel didn’t seem to care, but it sure made him move a lot. It was hilarious! That tiny bird was such a bully. I love the entertainment in my backyard!

Delightful Story

Every morning in Frankfurt, Germany,
you might catch a glimpse of Jenny,
a horse who goes on a long walk every morning,
all by herself. She has been taking the same route every morning for 14 years, ever since her owner,
now 79 years old, became unable to ride.
She enjoys greeting all of the familiar faces along the way,
and she stops and gets treats and pettings from some of her favorite humans. The locals treat her like a celebrity and happily clean up after her.

A piece of paper is attached to her halter that reads,
"My name is Jenny. I didn’t run away, I’m just walking.
Thank you." But the police get calls frequently from
people who don't know about the arrangement.
They are very familiar with the horse and the owner,
and there have been no incidents in 14 years.
A local veterinarian gives her routine checkups
and continues to find her to be healthy and
showing no anxiety about her unique lifestyle.

Called it!

My sons texts with his GOT friends...

Yep! He called it!!!!

SPRING

I can not find the words to express how happy Spring makes me.
There are fields as far as the eye can see, just covered in yellow flowers. Tiny purple and white flowers in the yard. Trees covered in white and pink flowers nestled in with the many shades of green budding trees. Of all the delightful spring treasures that I see each day, it is the Purple Iris that I love the most. How blessed I am to see such loveliness all around me. I love everything about Spring.

Melt

I had a total melt down last night.
Over buying a lawn mower.
It was stupid. And frustrating.
There was no reason for it.
No rational reason.
I need to remember that the past is the past.
And I need to live in the present.
But I let my inner demons overpower my logic.
I totally freaked out my boyfriend.
I felt so bad, I still feel so bad.

This morning he texted me that he loves me.
I asked if he was sure.
He said ...
"Yes absolutely sure.
Your my last everything.
I adore you."

My heart melted.

411

We have been looking for a house
We have viewed several
I was at the point that I thought we wouldn't find one

We wanted a nice house, that is big enough,
but not too big...with a garage.

John called yesterday and said that he was going
to go look at one at 4:30.
Something inside me said "I will be there."
And without reading any of the information on it first,
I went to meet him.

It is in a classic charming neighborhood. Tucked away.
The other houses on the street are just as charming.
Each one unique and beautiful.
The trees are large and the yards are lovely.

Daughters

I have the most beautiful daughters.
They are talented and delightful.
I love them with all my heart.
I miss them so very very very much.

Quote of The Day

People rise out of the ashes,
Because they are invested in
The possibility of triumph over
Seemingly impossible odds.

What if

"What if our religion was each other. If our practice was our life. If prayer, our words. What if the temple was the Earth. If forests were our church. If holy water--the rivers, lakes, and ocean. What if meditation was our relationships. If the teacher was life. If wisdom was self-knowledge. If love was the center of our being."

50 Years

In the span of my lifetime the human population has doubled
and the animal population has reduced by 60%.
